Bridging Visa A to B
If you hold a Bridging Visa A (BVA) and need to leave and re-enter Australia while your substantive visa application is still being processed, you must apply for a Bridging Visa B (BVB). The BVB is the only bridging visa that allows lawful travel outside Australia during this period.

No. BVA does not allow travel. You must apply for a BVB before leaving Australia.
Processing can take 2–7 business days. Apply well before your intended travel date.
Your BVA will cease and you may be unable to return to Australia unless you obtain a new visa.
You should include your intended travel dates, reasons for travel, return flight details, and any supporting evidence (e.g. medical documents, invitation letters).
It depends on the travel period granted. Some BVBs are for single entry only.
